Woohoo!! Don’t forget about Pioneer Club TONIGHT!
We’ll start singing with Mr. Brock at 6:15 sharp! Then Pioneer Club will begin at 6:30. We’ll be in our rooms tonight with our new Pioneer Club teachers. Parents, you can pick your child(ren) up at 7:30.
Children ages 3 through 5th grade are able to attend, and we have a nursery for children through age 2.

This Wednesday at Pioneer Club is RED AND BLUE Night!!! Pioneer Club’s colors are red and blue, so we’ll represent our colors this Wednesday! Come dressed in the best red and blue you can find!

We’ve just started our Pioneer Club Wesley Walk campaign! Each child will try to raise at least $20 to go to Wesley Community Centers, Inc. The chidlren’s Wesley Walk will be on Wednesday, September 15th during Pioneer Club (6:30 – 7:30 p.m.). We hope you’ll come and join us that night as we learn more about what it means to help others in need.
*Parents, if you would like for your child to participate but do not have an envelope, please see Katie Atcheson! All money is due on or before the night of the Wesley Walk.

Athel prepared a delicious patriotic picnic dinner this Wednesday night.
Everyone enjoyed the fried chicken, corn, beans and potato salad.
Eventually she brought out lots of home-made ice cream.
John and friends closed the evening with a song.
Come celebrate Independence Day with your Church Family at either one of the Worship Services this Sunday! Pastor John’s Sermon Title is “Let Freedom Ring” and his scripture is Isaiah 2:4-5. We will have presentation of colors at the 11 o’clock service. Holy Communion will be served at both services. We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Continue the Patriot Celebration with us on Wednesday, July 7th at 5:45pm as we have this month’s supper. The menu will be fried chicken, green beans, potatoes salad, corn on the cob, and a variety of homemade ice cream. We would like to show appreciate to all of those who have or are serving in one of our Armed Forces by having you be our guest at this Supper. Pastor John will be singing ‘I’m Proud to be an American”, Cammie Jane has a Patriotic trivia, and then we will recognize all military people by having them stand. So please come join us for this special occasion. If you do not have standing reservations, please email the church office at athelmorris {at} bethesdaunited(.)org to make your reservation.
As a reminder, there are no youth services Wednesday evening as we attend and support our graduating seniors. See ya Sunday!

Tonight is the last Wednesday Night Supper before our Summer Break. PLUS it is the Pioneer Club Awards Night immediately following supper in the Chapel. If you plan to join us for supper and do not have reservations, please let us know ASAP. The menu is meatloaf, mashed potatoes, cream corn, white beans, fried okra, salad, rolls and ice cream for dessert. We will have hamburgers for those who do not eat meatloaf. In June and July we will have one monthly supper. The dates for those are June 9th and July7th. So mark your calendars. Hope to see you tonight!
Don’t forget our Pioneer Club Awards Night is THIS Wednesday! The kids will be getting their awards, so be sure and wear your vest! We’ll be celebrating and playing some fun games, so you won’t want to miss it! Even some adults from Bible Study will be joining us, and we are excited to show what we have been working on this year! We’ll see you in the chapel at 6:30 p.m. THIS Wednesday (May 19th). This will be our last meeting for the school year.
Parents: the kids in Pioneer Club will be singing in the 11:00 worship service on Sunday, May 23rd!! They have been practicing each Wednesday with Mr. Brock, and they are so excited for you to hear what they have been working on! Please bring your children and come to watch them sing a new song! Our last practice is this coming Wednesday, May 19th at 6:15 before Pioneer Club. See you all there!

Calling ALL children!!! For the remainder of the school year, the children will be singing with Mr. Brock at 6:15 on Wednesday evenings in the Education Building — eat dinner, then go sing with Mr. Brock! The children will then sing what they have been practicing in church at the 11:00 service. We start THIS WEDNESDAY — we can’t wait to see you there!
THIS Wednesday at Pioneer Club is the PIONEER CLUB OLYMPICS!! We’ll meet at 6:30 on the ballfield — come in tennis shoes (no flip flops) and play clothes! See you there!

ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!! Come one, come all. Bring your sweetie to our Valentine Dinner Wednesday night. We will have delicious food (as always) and our very own super-talented Brock Derringer will be providing “mood music” during the dinner hour. You will have an opportunity to have your picture made with your sweetheart(s) and you will be surrounded with decorations that will put you in a very “loving” mood. I know you will be showing your love for your special people, whether that be your spouse, your children, your family, your friends, or all of the above.

Please mark your calendars for our Ash Wednesday Service which will be on Wednesday, Feb. 17th at 6:45 in the sanctuary. We invite you to join us for our Wednesday night supper that week. Supper time is 5:45 – 6:45pm and the menu is soup and salad bar. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 3 – 10.
