Around Bethesda UMC…

Membership is More!  Membership is more than getting your name on a list.  At Bethesda it signals so much – excitement about Christ’s role in your life, commitment to the point that you want to “sign up”, understanding that being a part of the whole makes the whole stronger in some way that only God can truly know.  Perhaps you have been worshiping here for a time and are ready to take the next step.  If you would like to join Bethesda please let Pastor John know at any of the services or give him a call at 770-921-3753.

Pete Spain went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening.  His son was with him at the time.  His body was donated to Emory.  Thanks to everyone who went out of their way to minister to Pete the short time he was with us.

Thank you to everyone for making this year’s Fish Fry another success.  This is really a team effort and we could not pull this off without everyone pitching in.  Thanks so much.

Just a reminder to ALL who have kids — the Parenting Sunday School Class meets in the back of the Fellowship Hall (on the window side) from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Carolyn Beaty is leading this class.

This looks great! How did you get it in there?

    1. Open the file in Word.
    2. Copy into the Wordpress editor using “Insert from Word” button.
    3. Centered the traditional service section, except for long paragraphs.
    4. Added returns after the staff e-mail addresses.
    5. Removed financial data.
I think that was all. You could fiddle with it to make it a little nicer, but this could all be done in a minute or two.

I tried using the theme’s Header1 and Header2 for the sections in the order of worship this week. I think I preferred the normal formatting from Word.
